What would your younger self think of you now?

This question is tough. As much as I'd like to think my younger self would be proud of who I am now, I'm not sure she would be.

Sometimes, younger me feels like an entirely different person, and maybe that's to be expected with age. But I also feel like, especially as a teenager, I was out of touch with who I am — so much so that I wonder if my younger self would recognize me now. She'd probably be confused by my life.

I might need to sit her down and tell her, "Look, I know. It's a lot to take in, but let me explain."
